Call it the sj550 ss. SS being either Slightly Stock, or Sleeper Screamer

So now where do I get stock'ish graphics.

Maybe replace Kawasaki with Yamasaki, but keep the standard font, so it would be real easy to miss.

Oh man boris, you hit the nail on the head. Those are my absolute most favorite scheme ever... that and the same thing yamaha did with the squarenose superjet. The yellow with the black blocks down the side. Sooo sexy.

I had one of those as well as my friend, called them the Crayola twins.
Sadly, both are flat black right now.

I think there's some instant cool factor in keeping the stock graphics or close to them on older skis.

I come close to ripping off the graphics when I bought it, im proud I didnt. I want to seal my hood up but i dont wanna mess the stock graphics up. May just buy another cheap hood and keep my stocker.

You can close off the air intakes and not damage the stock paint.
After you cut out the louvers tape up the holes and glass from the inside (must remove the liner first).

Good point, seems like that crossed my mind at one time. I hate the stock hood. Thats what I'll do when I get to it.

Sorry about thread jacking mr fox. My little brain flutters around like a drunk butterfly.
