Super Jet Painting Bottom, Flip over or hang?

Recently, my SN superjet sustained some bottom damage that chipped a chunk off one of the chines which needs glass and some pretty large scratches/ gouges. I figure I'm going to paint it while I'm down there glassing the chine and filling the scrapes.

Is it ok to flip it over and or it better to hang? Where would you recommend hanging it from? If I were to flip it, would it be best to take the hood off?

Thanks

when i did the bottom of mine i just flipped it over on some saw horses with a piece of foam board in between... just pull your battery and make sure your fuel won't leak...

idk how it would be bad for the motor mounts to flip it over long enough to repair and paint the bottom.. not like it's getting tossed around... if that's hard on them then they should break any time someone falls off and the ski rolls on it's lid while running... couldn't tell you how many times that's happened to me and there would be more stress on the mounts then... heck, there's more stress on the mounts while the ski is running right side up than stationary upside down... i don't see where there would be an issue leaving the motor in long enough to repair/paint...

Thanks for the replies. I agree that the mounts take a lot more strain jumping a wave then hanging upside down. I just gonna flip and see how it goes.

Thanks
