Painting a "modified" b pipe.

Guys , I had to give my new b-pipe a good trashing with a hammer in order to get it to fit without fouling on the engine mounts and the side of the hull. Will the aluminium chamber deteriorate if I don`t repaint the "modified" areas.... ?

No aluminum will not . It's rust prof. Just make SHURE where you made the mods that you didn't pound it too thin . Could crack.
