Paint taping

How does everyone with handholds in there hood tape them off for paint?

I just tape them off like anything else... I don't understand the dilemma, I guess...

Just mask around the inside edge of handhold so it leaves half the sticky surface facing outward then fill in the rest of hold by applying tape to the outward facing mask.
Watch out though cos your applying one sticky surface to another so if you f*** up then it usualy means starting again!!

pack it full of newspaper.
then take a section and fold it into a flat sheet, stuff it on top of the packed newspaper. Keeps debris from going down into the creases.

i put turf in mine no need to tape

I used rags

stuff em in tight , that way you can paint the edge of the handhold aswell

this is how I do it... stuffing crap in there will give dust a place to hang out then when you spray it that dust will end up in the paint/clear.

This is the right way. You mask the inside so sticky faces out around the border then fill in from the outside. this way the edge gets painted too.
