Paint Question

Any suggestions on clear coat paint for the bottom of the ski, Type and Brand name? Also, how many coats of clear?

2-3 coats depending on how heavy you lay them on. I usually do 2 light coats and a third somewhat heavy coat. Just to warn you. Paint on the bottom won't last long! I have used a bunch of different types of clear and paint and haven't seen a ton of difference. However, I am not a pro.
Chris Maros told me to use Napa clear one time. It's cheap and seems to look nice.

i used omni paint and clear it is made by ppg. i have also found that if you are painting a kawi or a seadoo don't sand with anything finer than 120grit. i sanded jjc568 750sx with 300 before priming and painting and now his paint peels off. but the spots where we didn't sand very well the paint is stuck very well. I am not sure if it's because the hull is made of smc or what. I sanded my rn sj with 300 before painting and you can't even chip my paint. we used the same primer, paint, reducer, clear...
