Yeah that vid makes it look safe but it can be very crazy out there especially on the holiday weekends. I wouldn't feel safe on a boat unless it was over 28ft and had good horsepower.

this is her "Aunt Avis" i think it would be fine there, but im probably going to be working on my ski's most the time anyways. i just thought it would be nice to sleep on the boat instead of a tent

You should be okay in the Aunt Avis, looks like it has a deeper hull and that weekend won't be as wild as Memorial Day. You can anchor in the party cove at night. It always fun waking up and crackin' a beer with everyone else that's there. There is usually a row of houseboats beached together partying through the night.

That 25 footer would do fine in the LOZ. Unless its one of those really really bad days (wind, etc.)

There is a small fishing tournament at pb2 one the 7th 7 boats in the morning. on the 14th there is nothing at pb2 so that looks like the best date.

Something will show up on the Regatta listing - I'd say there's almost always a sizeable tournament putting in at PB2, be it crappie or bass.
