sounds MUCH like my last trip to LOTO.

black boat sat on the beach most of the time with me wrenching on it.

When going to the Ozarks you MUST have a good running ski.. None of this "it ran for my test ride of 10 minutes" It must be tried and true complete and in perfect running condition. I know... trust me..... All of the pictures of my ski was sitting on the beach with the flywheel off and parts spread all over the place.... I was only 1/2 mile from party cove and attempted to make it there and failed all 3 times...... I won't do that again I will take a spare motor...

This isn't a stand up only ride but the ratio of stand ups to sit downs was pretty close to 40:1. If I remember right the drive was only about 10 minutes with all the random stops in between. You can have a crappy running ski just don't try to go to party cove. Just stay on this side of the traffic and you won't have a problem.

I'm trin to line up a house boat to ride behind to the cove. He goes just about every weekend he's just not much for jet skis. My plan is to get coulpe of people on the boat to get some pics and footage. I think if I throw some money his way it shouldn't be a problem.

I guess the Kawis will have to represent again this year! Especially now I have a fancy dancy intake grate.:arms:

Hopefully Katie will be pulling BRs by then.

The LOTO freeride is set up better than some held in other states. Other rides you have to park, carry you gas/supplies for the day to the beach and there is no camping. Three years ago we camped in area #4 instead of area#1 Four is on the water but a long ride to party cove. This photo is '06.

Yes, That was the year you drove there twice. The water front sites are down in #4. Their is no boat ramp in the site itself, we just backed across the grass. The boat ramp for the intire camp ground(1,2,3.4.) is right next to area 4 but the road to it is up on top beginning next to the ranger station, where you drive into area 1. ya see! Just on a side note all of our, ST. Louis Crew, weekend rides are camping on the water fronts:aka. Kincaid, Rend, JR's place. http://www.mostateparks.com/lakeozark/camp.htm

onesojouner, Maybe before you post dates to choose from check for wakeboarders. This was Sunday June 3 '06 the weekend we were there!. They had all of area 4 and the boat ramp and that mile long cove was no wake for the week end. This could cause a problem for spontaneous riding Fri and Sunday between meeting everyone at pb2 on Sat.. Can you spot the 4 jetskers.?

Yea 80 degrees was great.. just warm enough that I didn't get cold carrying my ski back and forth while working on it...

I would guess the 4 jetskiers are the 4 homos in the middle of the first picture.....

What do I win??? Did I get it right???
