Original FX1 reference pictures

This is my 1995 Yamaha FX1. The original engine threw a rod and I put a stock 61X engine from my square nose Superjet into it. While I had it all apart I was really amazed at the condition that the rest of the ski was in. As far as I can tell it is all original and unmodified including the stock grips, turf, and safety key. It even has all of the original warning labels on it. I thought that I would take some pictures in case anyone wanted to restore thiers back to factory condition. This is what an FX1 would have looked like if you bought one new in 1995.

I'm not sure why Yamaha just glued the ID tag on to the hull when it clearly has holes for rivets but apparently that is the way that it came

That is not the OEM lanyard and that thing is disgusting, clean it up. LOL. Looks awesome.

Lol I don't know how much cleaner I can get it,
it already has three coats of wax on it. Good to know about the lanyard though. Just out of curiosity does anyone have a picture of what the original one looked like?

Oh and here are the pictures of the FX1 stamp on the exhaust pipe and hull underneath the battery tray

Friking awesome! I think your FX-1 may have less use than mine which also has the stock graphics and warning labels.

Those are likely the original hand grips, because they are the ones on our relatively pristine 1994 SN Super Jet. (But I prefer the ODI grips on my FX-1.)

Pretty cool fire extinguisher compartment don't you think? Pretty cool key and phone door in the front of the tray don't you think?
