options for internal fuel fill?

less chance of getting water in the fuel. easier to remove the tank (no tools needed). you can top the tank off higher. its something to do.

It's way easier to take the tank out (get the fuel line quick diconnects from Jetworks for even quicker removal)and it fills up further with gas also .
Makes ski look nicer .Pretty much everything SFL said

The added fuel would be nice without having to get the nose of the ski sky high. As for the taking the tank out, must be a RN thing. On my SN the hose clamp that holds the filler line on is easy to get to.

Might have to give this internal fill thing a try some day.

I did that and it leaked .A little 5200 ,no leak :cool2:

I used 5200 fast cure on my internal filler cap, and I spent 3 months cleaning it out of my pickup tubes and replacing filters.:banghead:

I will use a new gasket next time, and if it leaks try some fuel resistant automotive silicone.

i did mine, and it was real easy, I took the stock pickups and moved them to the side of the tank were the filler is, i just bent the lines very carefully into the tank and now they work exactly the same, as for the filler it was real simple, absolutely no cutting or glue/seals/epoxy needed i just took the stock fuel filler put it in a bucket of ice cold water, then took the pickup part of the tank and put it in boiling water let them sit for a couple of minutes, then pushed the stock filler into the stock pickup, fit perfect and once cooled a completely air-tight fit..... no clamps or anything
I can post pics if somebody dosent get it

I ran this whole season keeping a 5/16" nutdriver and screwdriver handy and undoing the hose clamp around the OEM diptube at the top of the tank. Eventually I got used to it and it doesn't bother me anymore so I think I am just going to leave it. Rich, I'm sure you saw me filling up the couple of times we rode. It's really not that bad.
