Options for domed pistons over 86mm?

I see R&D sells 86.50mm for $173 each. Puts it at 799cc. Such a vague description there. Actually no description there. Are those flat tops?
Anyone know?

EDIT: Just came back from R&D site again and looked at the pic. Looks like a flat top made by Wiseco to me.. :dunno:

Seems like i heard before that Wiseco makes them specially for R&D. Any confirmation?

You can't just swap your pistons from dome type to flat tops because the compression height is different and it will alter the port timing as well.

R&D is no longer making their Dominator flat top pistons even though there still on the web site.

Riva is now selling their own flat top pistons is sizes up too 86.5mm which are made by Wiseco and are very similar to the R&Ds.

These flat top pistons won't work unless you're running a Lamey cylinder or big bore sleeves with the engine specifically built around them.

I have some BB sleeves like you had a year or so ago. LA Sleeve YA5187B sleeves. I was reading your post the other day about you putting them in a 62T cylinder.
Thinking of putting those in and going 86mm for now, but was just wondering what my options might be after that bore is done.

I have a ported 61X cyl.@84mm now and that is what i would be putting those sleeves in.
Where would I find round tops over 86mm?

WOW this is a scary thread. I didn't know you couldn't get anything over 86.5mm. I am at 86mm now so I don't want to catch a ring or anything that makes me bore it over .5mm. I might have to go all the way to 91mm. WhooHoo.... Bring on the horse power.... That moves me from a 850cc to a 950cc with one bore...

Bumpy old thread. My pistons are toast on a 86mm big bore (789cc) so now I have to go bigger. What are my options?

That's my only option? They were already resleeved for these pistons so I can't bore out a sleeve? Hmm this is going to be costly if I need to resleeve it me thinks
