Freestyle Opinions on what to do

Just got my speedwerx motor installed over the weekend. I'm happy with the power but I'm noticing that I'm leaving the water before the engine really gets on the power band.

Right now I've got a 9/15 hooker with a 85 taper bored nozzle, stubby cone, and R&D scoop grate. Should I unload the pump even more/prop down to get the engine to spin up faster or should I try to load the pump up more?

Sounds like the intake duct is too far back on your hull, does it ride seriously nose up as well?

Not sure how to fix that, maybe tilt the nosel down and run a longer plate or put in a setback pump?

No the ski handles exactly how I want it to and I can get some nice air. I just think it could be so much better if I could leave the wave at a higher rpm. I'm not a heavy rider and I can only sink the ski so much. Even when I ride other peoples ski's with big motors and mag pumps, I'm out of the water before I can really get on it. Just trying to figure out if I'm doing something wrong, if I can do anything to make it better or what. I'm hitting the wakes as fast as I can without plowing through it.
