open hotel rooms?

so, it looks like its going to be alot bigger than last year, I drove down last minute last year & got a room @ the coral beach w/o a res.

The Coral Beach is sold out as of today for the 15,16,17th when I called. the Best Western still has rooms @ 119.99 per night ocean view

does anyone have an extra room that was booked at the Makai or Coral that they are not able to use????

I have a ground floor ocean side room at the makia, i may be interested in going halfsies on... I'll now by the end of next week prob. Just waiting to hear back from one of our friends and see if she can get off of work to come along! If she doesn't, i'm looking to cut the costs down a little.

Not to jump your thread but I may be giving up my ocean front room at the Maki Fri, Sat, Sun. Not sure how to do it until I call them Monday. Staying next door and some people jumped out of our crew.

Proformace1, thats cool. I'm good with my room but someone else is sure to jump in needing a room. I got a hold of Lou & he called me when he canceled his room.
He gave the lady @ reservations my name & number. I called a couple min later & she was more than happy to take my money.
Its funny, because the web sites say they have openings but when I called they said they were booked. I'm sure they leave some rooms available but I like knowing I've got a place to rest my head.
Are you still coming down for the event?

Did you tell them it was for the freeride? They took like 10.00 off a night when I told them.
