Only one tank strap is it safe to ride

Put a hole in the bottom of mj JS 550 last week and quick fix so it cleaned up the hole,fiberglassed it and painted the bottom. Going out tomorrow for a AWA freeride and while i was filling the ski noticed that one tank strap was loose went to replace it and the mounting hook is gone. Hole was in the same place as the mounting boss for the front left tank strap on waterbox holder. Do i ride tomorrow or should i say no. so as of now there is only one tank strap and one water box strap. on the right side? yes i know it a JS

you going inverted on your 550? taking it in surf?

strap it down and give it a yank, go from their.

i rode with one strap on my sj tank for around 5months, no problems.

On the Kawi strap mounting tabs, I think they have a "hook-like" tab on both sides of the metal piece. Try to stretch the one side that is missing the mount to the unused side of the one that is still there.

I am riding. thanks for the info. Going from one side to the other . I will fix it on Sunday.
