Super Jet ok we have all been here before, Switch issues

ok my roundies switch gave up on me i would like some feedback

buy another replacement switch for $50

send it out to be "bullitprooffed" for $70
( not sure how they hold up)

or i was told you can make a 550 switch hold up
i have tons of them laying around


my current switch has a quickrelase on the ebox im not good with electrical im not sure how to deal with it. opinons please.

You mean your start/stop switch? Sometimes the connectors get a little debris on them. If you open your switch and take it apart theres 4 little metal plates you can rub with a pencil eraser. This usually does the trick; supposing your switch is actually the problem. Never heard of using the 550 switch however.

get some crimp and seal connectors, I have redone all of my wires for quick dis-assembly and re-assembly. just remember the di-electric grease on all the connections and you will be fine.

Kawasaki switches are much more durable than Yamahas. I found several new Tigershark switches that are identical to Kawasakis on ebay for $30.
