Personally, any pennzoil premium plus or pennzoil 100% synthetic for a non powervalved motor and are both twc-3 certified. For a powervalved motor, I would use mobil 2t racing oil(cheaper and better than amsoil) which is low ash and api-tc certified.

Amsoil DOES NOT certify their oils because they are to cheap to pay for the testing. I know klotz gets their oils certified(not sure if maxima does), but make sure the oil you are buying is certified and not just rated.

I work for a company that owns 80% of the market share in the industry. We produce the best products hands down and at the lowest price. We have the lowest prices because we produce many of the raw materials used by the entire industry. We also design and license many of the common components used industry wide. We are not cheaper because are products are crap. We are cheaper because there is no market up on our raw materials or designs, and we can more effectively and efficiently get product out the door. When you are comparing companies with huge differences in volume sold and company resources I don’t think a 12% difference in price should throw up any “cheapo crap” flags.

12%? I pretty sure i mention 100%-200% greater in my post quoted by you. I also said it was a generalization and not to get all extremest on me ( 12% )

Care to share the company name and industry, because i would love to see an example like your saying. (seriously, im not being a smart ass)

I used 12% because that is the difference between a gallon of Penzoil full synthetic bought at Wal-Mart(a discount store) and a gallon of Amzoil Dominator(when you buy 4). That seems to be 2 very popular brands that are brought up very often.

Gotcha. I breifly checked out your company, interesting. Fiberoptics is a crazy industry, im always amazed with the bandwidth increases they see on a month basis almost. insane

Penzoil vs Amzoil isnt really what i was getting at (like u said 12% is nothing). I was refering to somthing like the low end Penzoil vs Klotz or some other brands (1-2 times the cost). Anyways, no biggy here. Ill stick with klotz till i get some hard facts that i can switch to penzoil and get the exact same protection. Oil has always been, for me, a cheep insurance and peace of mind (even if it might not be 100% true).
