Good man! Helping Paul (Oldskoo) pimp out his square nose....he has a build thread going on in the ski buildup section... going to Daytona next week... and will be booking our house at Put-In-Bay (for the ride this summer) hopefully this week or next sometime.... everything good with you? any ski projects this winter?
Sweet, I'll have to find the build thread. I still have to put my WDK hood and lowered pole bracket on. Also rejet my carbs. But my skis are buried in at work so nothing going on with that right now. Also I got engaged and am planning a wedding, soooo I'm POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR! I"d like to get all that on, and rejetted and running good. See how it feels.
Still alive here at the GYC. I"m off work til the end of this month so I have been working on the sxr's at Mike D's shop. Loving the winter..I might be the only one. Here are some pics of the upates I did to the SJ. I beefed up all the padding in the tray, rail caps, chinpad and under the footwells (very snug, comfortable fit now). Cut my own matting to accomodate the extra padding. I extended the forward and side portions of the rail for some more hood tricks. Fixed the carb problem too. There were 2.0 ns in it and was flooding the carbs too much. Also swapped out for higher springs to raise pop off.
sleds are gone..blew the one up last winter and sold the other this past fall for an atv. Just a dusting of snow up here now...ice to thin too to take the quad out in the cove..waiting a few weeks for another ski trip...but for now..just working on some art and staying warm. cheers
I'll make those dates down..not sure what our race schedule is gonna be yet. We do have tennative National tour dates and that weekend does not interfere so far. I was headed to FLA but not Daytona, but decided to cancel the whole trip and save money while i'm off work. More details to come, but we're gonna have our GYC roundup the first weekend in May
