Thanks man. I had a great time & loved riding off the island.

You are not to far from me, let me know when you go out & I may be able to join up. my wifes folks live in canton & its about 1.5-2 hours to there but akron is south if i remember correctly

My ski may be down for a few days as my cyl base gaskets came in yesterday so if i get time the group k big bore is getting swaped into my ski, drool,drool,drool. The kit is already off of the other ski & man is that a beautiful port job

I may have to up my post count & do a ski build sheet, then Scoot wont be able to call me a lerker anymore.

That pic of my ski on the beach was @ about 9:00 am. I was the only one on the beach, it was pretty cool.

Hopefully next year I can stay for more festivities....

bring that 550 out. I love watching the old skool skis. Hell, I'll get my 90 550 out & ride w/ ya just for the hell of it. I cracked the nose on my 550 back in the day riding waves off of cataba. It was a blast.

Wow...look at the wasted people. That is a good shot. Just got back from the season finale' this past weekend and i'm up for some R&R asap. Hope to gather you guys later in Sept. for a ride weekend up here at the islands again..Kelley's perhaps.

Sept ride

Im up for a Sept ride in erie, I will be down south at lake norris the last weekend of september for 4 days so I should get a good ride fix then. The wife packs the schedule pretty full with stuff for the kids so my ride time has been cut down alot. I can always play hooky from work, :noevil:if im not too busy.

Let me know when you decide & I'll try to make it up.

Brenden..huge turnout with the biggest class being Beginner Ski with 13 riders on line. My class Am. Ski Open I ended up with 2nd overall on the tour.

For the Sept. ride, it looks like we might shoot for Sept.19,20,21

If anybody is interested, we're riding by Baypoint Marina in Marblehead at a huge sandbar that jets out into Lake Erie. The sandbar is between Marblehead and the Cedar Point breakwall. Once a month the bring a barge out with bands, dj's, etc. It is Saturday from 1-5pm (the music part) Tons of people pull up with coolers, ladies, jet skis, etc. and we throw down. You can launch at a huge boating access (Dempsy's) that is farily close. If you want info, let me know. I can put a few peope no problem.

those dates in september are the same dates as freestylefest (although I dont know how many people will be up there this year).... but the monroe location is nice since the water is pretty much like 70-80 degrees year-round.... maybe we can meet there?

Oh, sorry Eric..I posted what it was about on PWCtoday and thought I did on here too. Basically in Sept. we're gonna head up to Kelley's Island with our our racers. We usually ride after work on Friday and then head to the bar. Margaritaville is now open so prob. head there afterwards. Sat. his some waves and ride the lake and bay and/or run some bouys. Then head over to Kelley's Island later in the afternoon. Sunday ride or just be hungover. We just throw air mattress's down and pack 'em in. We usually do this same thing on Derby weekend in May. But..by popular demand..we're gonna do it again as a summer wind down since our races are done. I didn't even notice it was the same weekend as Freestyle fest. I'll hit more of those next year.

For this weekend, we have a couple buddies in so far with boats and skis that should show and more than likely Mike and Julie. No McGlovin or Tyler until Sept.'s ride

Brenden..we're looking at around 75 today and mid 80's and sunny this weekend. It's paradise always til mid October as of the last 2 years.

shart i forgot freestyle fest is that weekend....gimmie a ring scooter i was talking to a few people about just riding around marblehead somewhere in 2 or 3 weeks. ideas anyone>?
