Alright, I've troubleshot a problem down to my prop hitting my wear ring. I've searched around and found that the best thing to replace it with would be another oem housing. Would it be best to buy new or look for a used one? Another thing, the prop doesn't spin freely...does this mean I should buy a rebuild kit? Any advice is appreciated..Scott

Bearings don't seem to be bad, but if it's a good idea to replace them while I have everything out, I'll do it. So far I'm thinking of going with SBT since I havn't found a reason not to. Is oem a better choice because of the dowel pins or do they just last longer?

Call them and get the stainless housing they're identical to the oem part.
