Super Jet OEM air box alternatives.

I am running a blowsion one piece head on my SJ and the stock air box no longer clears. My fix didn't hold, and I don't really want to order a riser and a new stocker. I have seen guys running dual single oem looking airboxes on their SJs and I was wondering if anyone can tell me if there are oem's from a couch or 650SN that will work on my stock 38's with the blowsion head ?

No but you can install carb adapters and the conversion parts, I think Thrust sells them to run single oem style boxes. Or get a manifold spacer to move them out further.

At the eleventh hour of my build I realized it needed to be trimed, and I trimed it too much I guess, and made a hole on the side. DOH !) I made a nice piece to cover it but when I rode the adhesive cracked of course, so thats why I was hoping for an alternative.

If your going to run something else I'd buy it off you! I need an airbox for my build which uses twin 38's.

One of the issues I've seen with other twin carb airboxs that use the Mikuni style carb is that they often have a 4 bolt interface for the intake side of the carb.

use a plastic welder epoxy or actually plastic weld the part in place, it will hold

I put a hole in the side of mine as well when I trimmed to fit my ADA head. Some tape for form and some JB weld fixed it up real quick!
