Fwiw, you can use the stock bars with 130mm ODI grips: I did the same thing recently.
Throttle side just remove that black plastic spacer between grip and throttle lever. It looks like a 1" piece of black plastic tubing.
Start switch side, grind the indexing "nibbly bit" off from inside the switch so the switch can be placed anywhere on the bars, or drill another hole in the bars to put the switch where you want.
Note that the 2017 (and others) has a short-stroke steering cable, so the third hole for the ball joint stud can't just be moved out to get faster turning.
It also has a cast-in steering stop, which means no bolt to connect a limiting rope to.
