High altitude you have to run leaner, less oxygen. Sea Level, more dense, more oxygen. I've gone from sea level to 2600 ft with no significant notice of any difference. But if you're tuned right on the edge, could be a different story. If you run fine at higher altitude, but take it to lower and it doesn't have the same punch, richen the low end an 8th or 4th.
