Super Jet Odd performance issue

I ride in two places, at the coast and at a dam thats approximately 100km's inland. At the dam the ski hits hard and jumps out of the water with no hesitation. However when I ride at sealevel she seems to lose power and is not as responsive. Any ideas will be appreciated

Not substantial but yes ... top end is fine bottom seems to suffer at coast. Also while flushing the water coming out of the exhaust has a lot of two stroke in it. Mods is boysen reeds...ada head..factory pipe...flow control valve.... flame arrestors. Jetting as per factory spec. Lows at one and a quarter turn out highs at one and a half turns out... is she running lean or rich. Topbscrew on th pipe is out three quater turn mid and bottom screw closed. I have no bogging hesitation etc. At the dam I can do tail stands etc at sea level top end is a missile but bottom which is idle to quater throttle loses the crispness. Makes it difficult to set myself up for a wave. Normally coming down to sealevel should increase performance

High altitude you have to run leaner, less oxygen. Sea Level, more dense, more oxygen. I've gone from sea level to 2600 ft with no significant notice of any difference. But if you're tuned right on the edge, could be a different story. If you run fine at higher altitude, but take it to lower and it doesn't have the same punch, richen the low end an 8th or 4th.

That also very much depends on the carbs. Some are more sensitive to elevation changes than others. Next time you're at sea level and have those odd performance issues, try bringing out the low and high speed screws 1/4 turn.

Thanks guys will bring the lows out a quarter turn.... wish someone like Jeremy could help me out.. There's a lifetime of experience and awesomeness right there... hint hint
