Does anyone still ride out there? Never been but looking to pop my cherry this Sunday with a couple friends who have also never been. Saw a couple old threads from 4-6 years ago on it but nothing recent... Let me know, I'm unsure on how to go about this adventure as we are just buoy runners on the Colorado River...

Buoys are set up most Sundays at the Granada launch ramp off Ocean in Long Beach I plan on being down there dialing in my new boat this weekend. Oside should be good this weekend too wish I could do both

I was just being funny, figured someone else would chime in. I rode Oceanside two years ago. I met a guy riding the prior day at the Harbor Boat Launch. He came back and rode New Years day 2014 with me. We ended up running into another 4 guys out riding the surf spot, one was Jake Bright. It's a solid mile run in open ocean to the spot. I rode the second day alone and got caught in some marine fog... I couldn't see any direction except up at the sun, just kept my course lol and made it. Great Surf in Oside

So I typed in "Granada Launch Ramp" in my Google Maps and it took me to 'South Shore" Launch ramp. Didn't think twice about it being the wrong place until I got there with my buddies and didn't see anyone with stand up intentions.. Lol Already paid the $12 dollars to get in so decided to launch there. Wish I could have met up with you, next time!!

Not sure where the South Shore launch ramp is maybe by the Queen Mary? We were racing around by 11am at "Granada" Its not a ramp you need a beach tote from the end of the rode its a PIA and a workout as the sand is soft in the summer. Its at the end of Granada st. X of Ocean in Belmont shore. It is a Dog Beach and costs 12$ to park legally but there are other ways and you can risk it . Hope you find it, Racers arrive around 10am on most Sunday mornings .
Yea South Shore launch ramp is right below the bridge by the Queen Mary... Well I'm glad we didn't go to Granada then because none of us have a beach tote.. We were out screwing around around 1030-11 until my buddies ski he just bought off craigs was acting up so we went back. I was searching along the coast line to see if I could spot any Stand ups but didn't see any. Well I'll be gone to the river this weekend but will try again the next week. Ocean is a lot harder to cut in then I thought lol
