So I just figured out how to add videos to a podcast. Right now you can watch the original Oceanside Crew video, and Ross Champion trying for double barrel rolls, but I will be adding many more as time goes on.

url: http://www.ross-champion.com/vodcast/rss.xml

Our podcast has not been added to the itunes store yet, so in the mean time you have to subscribe manually.

  • From iTunes, click on Advanced at the top, then choose "Subscribe to Podcast..."
  • Paste the URL into the box and click "ok"
  • The Oside Crew Podcast and videos will then be available from your podcasts section on the left bar of iTunes.

Isn't a pod one of those things that aliens use when they want to land on earth and take all the old people away...oh...no...wait that is cacoon. Not to be confused with a Raccoon which is a furry little animal that will eat your trash.

I have an Ipod Mini....but barly know how to use it. It probably won't play videos either:frown: :frown:

Do I need an i-pod, or can I watch om my pc?

No need for an ipod...you can watch them on the computer in itunes. The compression used to encode videos for the ipod actually enlarges REALLY well, so you can even full screen the vid and it looks pretty good.

that's great jerry, I did a search for oside in itunes and it was right there. Couldn't be easier!

I need to setup all the keywords a little better still, hopefully we will show up for lots of other related searches. The idea being that we'll be able to maybe attract some new viewers, expose people to the sport a little more.

i dont know if its too late, but you should put a little x-h2o shout out at the end of all the videos. that way if a viewer wants to learn more about the sport they know where they can go. also it might just be my computer but when i downloaded the podcast version of the oside video it cut off the end. anyone else have this problem?

I haven't gone through them completely to make sure they are encoded right. Thanks for pointing that out, I probably messed up when I exported the video.

There will be some changes made to the videos soon (like a shout out at the ends). I threw these together to see if it would work....I'm definitely going to make this a little more of a regular thing.
