Ocean Pro Problems

So I bought an aftermarket OP intake manifold, a sbn 44 and a OP Vortex Air filter. I put them on my 550 and went to put the hood on only to find out it doesn't fit. The air filter sticks out over the hood seal. Is this common? Anyway to fix it? Thanks!
