NYNJA Start/Stop Switch

Anyone ever swap out their stock Yamaha start/stop switch to the NYNJA billet switch and if so did all the guts of the switch fit and function right? Anyone got pics?

Thanks!

You can't transfer the start and stop buttons and have to get new ones. It looks like these just push into the holes from the outside?? Then the inside stop button is loose and doesn't stay square to the button and the stock bracket that's suppose to hold it down is too tall and eh switch is loose. I'm assuming all Yamaha start/stop switches are the same relative to the internals...at least any of the ones I've torn apart they are. Just looking for feedback from someone that's successfully done this. Thanks!

I put one on my blaster last year or so. I used the switches out of the oem housing. I won't be around it for a few days. If you can wait I can take some pics of the outside and inside of the nynja housing with them installed and post them for you.

If you are looking for a better switch, look into the Wetjet duo 300 or kraze start/stop switch. It is a little bigger but the electronics and plugins are the same for the 701 61x.

That would be great...thanks...before I start "making it work".

I'm not looking for better switch, just looking at replacing an always fading casing. Figured at least a few people bought and tried these...Rad Dudes sell them on their site.

Perfect...thanks. My inner set-up is off some how and the metal bracket that is suppose to hold the stop switch down and forward is out of position. I had to create a "wedge" piece to drop down to the switch and then shift forward towards the button in order to hold it in place, otherwise when you pressed the stop button the whole button assembly collapsed in and up. Thanks for the pics!!

Are you sure you don't have those two switches in the wrong places? Look at the difference in the switch body length in your pic as compared to the one posted above?

Positive..thus the reason I asked if Yamaha changed anything at some point..his two brown wires go to his START button and his black & white go to his STOP just like mine. His STOP button is sitting back further than mine and I'm not sure how its staying (look at gap from hex nut to casing) when I shift mine back that far the whole think rotates up and it does lock into any position. I tried flipping it 180 degrees and the result and poor fit is the same.

Very nice peace. Wish it had tooling marks on the outside, not just on the inside. How they smooth it makes it look like cast :/.
