NOVICE CARB QUESTION... single or dual?

I am going from stock 2001 SJ but B pipe to big bored ported TLR cylinder, ADA (190PSI) and new carbs.

That's my doubt - CARBURETORS.

Options are several from more expensive to cheaper:

- Dual Full Spec's w/triple stage reeds.
- Dual Power Bombs w/Vforce.
- Single 49 Full Spec w/Vforce.
- Single Power Bomb w/Vforce.
- Dual 46's w/Vforce.
- Dual 44's w/Vforce.
- Dual 38's w/Vforce. (cheaper. Just getting Vforce)

Any tip is pretty welcome.

The Dual 46's w/Vforce would be a good choice and if money is no concern the Dual Full Spec's w/triple stage reeds would be the ultimate setup.

I just dont want to buy an excess of carburation.

I think that 48's are made for bigger motors, this is a big bore motor with Kawasaki pistons, not that big rods motors.

I am really in a doubt.

I see the freeride guys running singles...

Lets research.

The proper answer is that duals will make more power.

That aside, there are a couple nice benefits of running single. You can buy a better carb for less money, maintenance is easier, off bottom throttle response is said to be a small bit better.

I ran dual 44's last year and was happy with them. This year I switched to a single 48 Full Spectrum. I changed other things around, too, but I will say I am not missing my duals.
