Nose Stab Variations?

I was trying out some new things with nose stabs yesterday. I did my first look-back: that wasn't so hard and felt kinda cool. I also tried a one handed look-back, although the landing wasn't much fun.... I was thinking about trying a no-hander too but got a bit too tired to risk it.

What other variations do people do? Tips? Pics? Vids? I should have some pictures from yesterday if they come out OK (still on analog so I have to wait a couple of days...).

I know you ride flat, so it might be kind of tough, but matt (providers) has been pulling some pretty sick one footed look back nose stabs lately. He inspired me to try them....they are good times.

I was jumping the boat wake, so I get some pretty good air - time to get a leg off I think (but I'm not sure about getting it back on again  )

^^^I dont thin k you would have much trouble, as long as you do it smooth and with some style.

I was having some fun with 360 stabs yesterday, but that was in three foot surf, giv it a try, they feel cool.

I can do a 1 hander fine. But a couple failed tries with the no hander and I gave up on that. Your body position when doing a stab does not seem conducive to taking both hands off. I just seem to fall back from the ski, fast! Try 1 hand 1 foot. I don't think trere are to many other variations. Mabey try to spin the ski like a screw when comming in so you face the same way you took off, 360 nose stab?

one hander nosestab landers are not fun, you ended up either 1. breaking your wrist 2. falling over the front of the ski............... and breaking your wrist.......

So, are you landing the one-hander? My problem when I tried to land one-handed was that I couldn't keep my face away from the pole (I went I got my helmet after the first attempt!!). Maybe I should be just getting my hand back on for the landing.

no handers arent that hard.you will need good height though.i take my hands off as im leaving the wave and get back to the bars just before the nose touches the water.if you dont make it back to the bars in time just dive off the side of the ski so you dont smack your face.the worst thing you can do is land one handed.you will prolly eat the pole if that happens.good luck!!
