I need help on pulling off a nose stab. i'm sure my riding ability is up to par; i'm pretty damn good for only second season riding, but i'm having a hard ass time getting the nose stab down. maybe it's cuz i'm 6'7" 230 lbs. but i think that shouldn't matter. my 750 is piped and carbed and has a 9/17 skat, so it's got the :brap: for it, and i've got footholds to keep my feet in the ski, but i can't seem to get it. do i need to hit a boat wake or what? any tips would be helpful. :barrel:

keep you weight low, left, and forward....lower the better. make a little hop to the right and as soon as your ski lands crank the bars to the left and nail it. the pump will push the ski around, ski will jump out and should get inverted. the hard part for me is keeping my weight forward. this makes a big difference in how far the ski wants to go around. alot of people try to put their body into as well. waves will help but until are good at timing one then the prehop on flat will do ya. this seems to work for me.

What he said but ADD: look over the left front bond line of the boat all the way through the stab. This was the one thing that capped them for me. I first learned on boat wakes then went to flat water stabs. Prehop into troff of wake Chaest over the pole, low, LOOKING OVER BOND LINE AT front of hood and crank bars hard as u go up the wake out of the troff. Hope this makes sense, too me it was looking at bond line that nailed it. This will help when you start to roll as well, you will simply look at bond line further back and drop your left shoulder to start rotation.
