no spot for thermo sensor in am head

hey i read something a while back about this but cant remember how to fix the problem. what do i do with the sensor because the head i bought doesnt have a hole to mount it in?

also since i'm only running single cooling line cant i just take out one of the elbows and put a plug in the head?

and one more thing, if your not supposed to take the head off while its hot because it will warp it, how can it safely be powdercoated since its got to go in the oven at 400 degrees? i want to powdercoat my entire motor, is there any thing special i need to do for this process?

Heat sensor - you can do one of two things: 1. just zip tie it someplace out of the way, or 2. pull your ebox and unplug it altogether, then just silicone the opening in the ebox rubber grommet where the wire goes through.

A machine shop can mill a new hole. Its whats done to mine.

you could try bolting the cases, cylinder and head all together (no crank, pistons ect) when you coat it?? that should hold everything from warping....plus ive been quite a few guys on here powdercoat their motors...no one has complained about warped parts that i kbow of. good luck lets see how it turns out!
