I tried 'SEARCH'-no go

Anyone w/any luck removing stock SJ stickers and actually getting the glue off and leaving the blue paint on?

I've tried-
paint thinner
acetone
heat gun
WD40

I pulled the cheezy azz 'twin carb' stickers off of the sides of the handle pole of my 98 SJ? Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

The way i took off mine-
Heat gun to remover the sticker part- it should peel off, which just leaves the glue which i used brake cleaner and a scraper. I found a hard rubber bondo applyer worked good and didnt scratch

Marhyde paint stripper (aerosol can), spray on and you can scrape off, but on the hood, you cannot leave it on for any time, will pull the paint off. Heat and goof off works also, just harder...... also those rubber decal wheels are suppose to work well

When using the goof off or similar items, spray it on and let it sit on there. mabey apply a couple coats and let sit over night. I have had good luck with that. The longer it sits the easier the glue seems to come off.
