not sure if it was my total collective time in the tray that caused it, the 10-18 skat prop, or taking out the 1 washer on each side of the front of the ride plate that made the difference, but saturday, i was able to ride my ski faster than i ever have. the nose stayed down, and cut through the water like a knife. last time i had it out, the ride plate had 1 washer in the front, and 3 in the back. (the one on each side in the front made the front of the ride plate flush with the intake grate. with out it now, the the ride plate sits higher up in the ski that the intake grate, but I'm thinking that made all the difference.
