No more custom of the month

do the custom of the month have to be a stand up jet ski or can I post my surfabout. 100% home made by me.

Honestly, it's amazing, zero interest from anyone until I announce it's gone. There wasn't even an August custom and we're 1/2 way through the month before this discussion came up and now everyone has ideas?

Also, the whole point of Custom of the Month is to showcase something new, or different, or whatever, but it needs to be special for some reason.

so nobody has submitted anything in a while. does that mean you should do away with it? im sure you havent had a use for your left pinky toe in quite some time either. is it time to lop it off too?

You (or anyone else for that matter) didn't offer it up for discussion until you announced it was gone. :frown:

When mine's done it'll have new and different turf, along with a new and different motor, as well as a new and different handlepole. :smile:

This feature kinda' reminded me of the "Custom Corner" that Splash Magazine used to have. How many Big-Pimpin', High-Dollar, Lenzi/Malone wannabe skis are really out there? Could we try to keep the Custom of the month for the regulars here with a "Headliner Custom" once or twice a year? Hell---we got enough now to wrap up 2006. :biggthumpup:

Maybe it doesn't have to be Custom of the *month*. That's too much pressure! Perhaps just put them up whenever someone has a really cool original custom to show off.

how about "x-h2o's featured custom ski"?

that way, there are no time constraints or limits.

Yeah if the time constraist are gone then we can get really worthy ski's in there and not just a showcase of eveyones boat. X-H2O's new section "The Vault" showcasing custom created skis that are made specifically for pushing the envelope of freestyle/freeriding riding. :biggthumpup: What do you think Darin?

Set a criteria that the ski has to meet in order to inducted in to the The Vault :Banane01: Must be something different, having both custom looks and performance upgrades. That would be sweet to have each person have a short video of the ski running so we can hear it and see it shredd. :cool2:

I like that the best because it take a long time to get a custom made PWC.
I see that no one as interest in my custom surfabout and it is OK with me but for a custom it is a custom and I have put so much work to this PWC and no one is interested to know more. I understand that you guys swear by sj or sxr, so you guys should get your feet out of the foothold and look around there is more like me that have built some strange conception to be used as a PWC and no place to show case our work as inventor or creator like I like to say.
so I'm with supperjett loose it since no one as any interests in displaying more then a sj or sxr. and replaced with custom made PWC and that could be anything that someone ride on.

Ditto, I'm making major changes to the X2 this winter, heads up Pancaker. I will do a photo journal.
