NJ Title/Registration Experts

I'm new to NJ (8 months) so I'm still trying to learn all the title/registration rules.

Question:

What is needed to register an older SJ in NJ? Is just a notarized bill of sale sufficient? Are titles even issues for an old ski like this?

I'm debating on selling or keeping a ski that I have acquired.

All you need is a written bill of sale from the old owner. Take that to motorvehicle fill out some papers and you are good to go.

Bill of sale must be Notorized that is the key to only making one trip to
DMV and if you have a old registration card also you are golden .

I got my hands on a 650sj. Like I said, I'm still debating about selling it outright, parting it out, or keeping it.

yea make sure its notorized.

i couldn't get away with it not being notorized. i even had the old registration and they gave me problems. so i had to wait a week to get another bill of sale.

When I bought a '93 sx from Curtis (Kawirider) he basically wrote a receipt on a piece of notebook paper and gave me his old registration (NY state). I had no problem registering with the DMV here in NJ.
