Get yourself some of these cheap ole bouys, some cheap line from boaters world, and some bricks, and go ahead out and set yourself up a little bouy course somewhere. Water is still pretty warm this time of year and jersey, and boat traffic drops off big time. Plus, if you have the chance, go rip some waves while they are nice, practicing your turns in and out some surf can help you big time when it comes to racing in it. (I always have the most fun racing in surf.)

I would ride with ya if I was around, but even if you cant ride with anyone and you are just riding byself your still going to get better and better. You just gotta keep pushing yourself. If you arent fallin down, you probably arent learning.

I would setup a little 8 bouy course or something like that, and run for about half a tank of gas to the left, and then run it backwards for the second tank of gas. Can't really beat that kinda training.

Good luck!

yea scorn had me go out and get some hippidie hops for bouys and i put weights on them. i waout set up a little 4 bouy course and do backwards and foward like you said gets kinda boring riding alone. and surf is fun to. i improved alot i think i only have been riding for 2 months. but if your ever around come rip wit me and scorn.

i live in bridgewater NJ. i have a shore house in bayville nj. scorn lives about 40 min from me. where you been ridin at?

I see. Im outta Philly originally, but for all purposes, I live in and ride out of Ocean City, NJ.

I love it. My Ski is right on the bay 24/7 365. Its a 3 minute ride to get to some natural marsh trails that run for about a mile and a half or so. Or I can ride 3 minutes in just a slightly different direction and Im in the waves. Or I can just drop in some buoys out of the dock and ride right there. Absolutely Can't beat it.

I just need to ride more. lol. Two summers ago I rode a ton (first season I ever rode/had a ski), last year I rode alot, but this year I pretty much didnt ride at all after the Rochester National Tour.

Kinda sucked now that I think about it. I want to ride right now.

sounds pretty sweet bro. corsons is fun and sounds pretty sweet you can set up buoys anytime. in the summer i can on weekends wit scorn but the place isnt the greatest. i plan on doin alot of riding next season and i want to do all the region 8 races.
