Did some work on the hood yesterday. Still need to add the valley the pole sits in. Lots of work & little progress. I wanna try this befor the water gets too cold:approve:

more work on the hood, still more to go. Stock pole cut 10 in. It might need to be trimmed more.

What an incredible amount of work. Good job. Is it me or are the bars going to hit the back of the hood? What's your process for making a new hood? Is what you have the plug for a mold or are you going to glass over it and then under it after the foam is removed?

I so can't wait to see the finished product, and hear back about the ride. If it works well, you said you wanna rip a mold from it, right? any plans to make some for sale? Just curious.

Looks friggin great so far bro! :hail:

The bars should clear the hood if they don't I'll make it. I'm planning on glassing over the foam then removing the foam from the inside then more glassing.

nice innovation!

Hey Joe, your project is insane. I dig the innovation. Im really curious to see how it rides. Ive seen the video clips and your surfriding is very nice- hopefully the new boat will compliment it! GOOD LUCK

This project is awsome.

I wonder how many hours you have in it already?

HA! with a project like this,(I know them well) you don't measure the hours...you go by how much foam, resin & cloth you use!

Poor Josh....is he still scratching fiberglass dust from that car seat? :scratchchin:

Great job !!! More pix!

Looks good!!! At least there won't be that question about "not enough foam"!

Not worried about running out of foam with you around. Thanks for the hook-up:biggthumpup: BTW I need that other 1/2 sheet of 1in.

i like your style..your work shack is messier than mine..

I've seen the pics of your garage and thought what a dump, it looks like my place:burnout:

Thanks!!! I've had these ideas kicking around for awhile. Hope I'm happy with this because it's a big mess.

I understand the back end... but don't understand what you are doing to the front...

taking away from the bottom hull only?

I'm thinking it's going help my boat work shorter. I removed some of the flat by the pump & where the middle bulges in the nose will be gone & match the rocker of the rails. I'm thinking more rocker & less flat will make the boat respond quicker in front to back weight transfers.
