Newbie and need some advice on adding a pipe and head to stock 701..

I'm running a stock 701 in my RN SJ. Have managed to pick up a cheap ADA girdled head with 35cc domes and an older style protec pipe not sure what model?? (it weighs a tonn!!! and the actual pipe part is chrome)

Is it just a case of bolting this stuff on and running it or will I have to change the jets and stuff in the carbs? If so can anyone point me in the right direction of where I could find out some info on how to set it up?

Also will I need to order a bracket or something to bolt the pipe to the head??

Any help would be awesome cause I'm totally lost!!!

Welcome to the X....change your main jets from stock 130 to 135 for more fuel and take out one or two screens above each carb in the stock airbox. Then contact Carl Brown at Pro tec re: pipe bracket or post pics here of it for maybe more info....

Check your squish when you install the head.
