depends on how much you want to spend...but in stock form a 61x/62t motor is what originally came with it and is a good starting platform.

Theres a nice 06 posted in the forsale section right now for $850...not a bad deal at all.

Or you could look around the classifieds and such to find a Wetjet Kraze they had the 701 with a 46mm single carb. And you can pick one of those skis up CHEAP. I bought 2 last year one for 300 and one for 400. Then you sell the hull or part it out and have a free motor...

QUESTION IS: How much do you have available to spend... your options range from $500 to $10000... believe it or not...

this will probably be a project when i get out of basic and AIT so my price rang is up to $10000 but i don't want to spend that much i was thinking some thing that i could use on a lake and something i can do free style with! i would say about 3 to 4 grand!

no i don't have a ski allready! so would it be cheaper to buy a full ski and mod it out or would buying a hull and motor be cheaper?

Find one that is done, any year from 96 up.
