No x-jet has sank from a design flaw. it has been stated NUMEROUS times that the x-jet in kansas sank because the owner personally removed the foam.

Didn't Luke have to remove the foam because of the engine he was running?!?

i think i read that the foam was removed to add right rear exhaust and was never replaced.

There isn't that much nosefoam to begin with - I somehow doubt that it really would have prevented the sinking.

my kawi didnt have nosefoam, and it didnt sink. kinda bobbed.

It didn't have a GP800 engine in it. I doubt it had a mag pump.
Both items add weight.

Additionally, I bet your Kawi was engireered with some weight considerations in mind for that platform and engine/pump combo.
My point wasn't that the nose foam is the make it or break it item when it comes to sinking.

there's no nose foam in the x-jets, (like almost all other am hulls). the foam he removed was in the back, like butti said.

I put OEM roundnose nose foam in my X-Jet, just for piece of mind.

im sure if your getting a custom boat compared to footholds it could be much different.

then i will rephrase my post... if he comes through for me on these holds and i am happy i would say he is a good guy for buying stuff he has in stock or what not.
