Custom/Hybrid New Watercraft Factory "Vision" hull

bondra131

Thaat's braptaastic!
So what's the truth on these vision hulls? I'm interested in standard length most likely (since I don't want a flat water hull) I love my old square nose that I've done a lot of handling customs to but it is old and cracking left and right. I just need a new hull to swap in to. Only custom hull I have ridden is the rickter evo2. I liked it but they are more money and everyone has one.. And they don't look as sick as a vision ;) I would chose the fiberglass surf standard length if I got a vision. Any inputs guys? I want a hull that handles very well and you can go fast on and carve corners hard as I do ride buoys now and then but I'm mostly about big boat wakes and surf riding. I love to freeride just not into the flatwater stuff

there are a few peeps here that have Visions and will be glad to give you some feedback (flipside, dms80 and wolfchild all have standard lenght Visions)
I can assure you that our hulls carve and handle extremely well in all conditions.
please feel free to give us a call or pm mee for more info

Im not a big fan of how the vision rides in comparison to an evo, matrix ect.. I think the issue is the rocker is too abrupt, i didn't like the way the nose felt when carving hard or ridding at speed.

Thank you for your input, however we all have opinions on riding characteristics. I personally do not care for the EVO as I think it is too slippery and slides too much on hard turns. I never rode a matrix so no opinions there except that's it is kinda big and a bit on the heavy side .

Maybe some Vision owners will chime in instead!

Owners sometimes dont have the most unbiased opinions, bondra1 definitely ride this hull before you buy

I think it would behoove any prospective hull buyer to ride the hull they are interested in along with as many others they can to truly get a good idea of what they are getting. I cant speak for the characteristics of a Vision like XJ can as I've never ridden one, but I totally support his notion that Bondra should ride one before buying.

I had owned a sj and have ridden a superfreak and own a vision now so I can't really give you comparisons to other aftermarket hulls. I do really enjoy my vision and is a big difference from a sj. The wider tray is so nice and it planes out well and is good for freeriding. It craves very well if not better then my sj. Although it is standard length the weight difference and shape difference makes it feel shorter. It slashes really well and can't wait to get it in the surf and have some fun.

Very well built and fit and finish is perfect no shims no grinding anything everything from my sj drive train went right in no problems at all.

Ride reports from Daytona??
was at flat water friday ...had a few peeps test it out (seemed to be a low turn out this year) . Many loved it ...not sure if they are on the boards here
I personally rode it saturday most of the day (could'nt get enought of it) and had one more person take it out a test ride and he said it was the best hull that he rode all weekend.
that's all for now. We are planning on attending wave daze
