I used to have one just like that. Watercross of Texas used to offer a lot of mods, like scoop grates, props, and a 3cylinder conversion.

That looks like a 78 or 79, which should have a Suzuki 723cc twin ( mounted like and outbourd, withe the crank straight up and down) rated at 50HP. Top speed around 32mph. BUT, that huge pump would launch it out of the water from a dead stop. With a passenger you can pull mad wheelies, too.

Like an outboard. the motor is a top end of a Suzuki outboard. You can still get the parts from the outboard motors.
