New to my superjet got a few questions

Got A 91 Superjet a few weeks back, Been riding the crap out of it. So much that i havnt had really any time to post here. Anyways its still got the 650 motor. Shaved head/Protech pipe/Protech intakegrate/ Riva flame arrestor/Not sure on impeller/and an aftermarket ride plate. Anyways I have a few questions.

First off i am riding flatwater on a lake here in chattanooga. I am wondering if this is normal. I weight 215 pounds. I am finding myself having to stand pretty far forward to keep the nose down. Probably standing in the middle of the tray to keep it down while on plane. Could this be a sign of the foam being waterlogged or just my fat ass :D.

2nd question. The thing is running strong but i am fouling out plugs after about 25-40 gallons of gas. I have been mixing 40:1 ratio yamalube. Just wondering what i need to adjust if anything or if its just how i am riding it or something.

Anyways i am new to having my own standup and been very excited. I also want to strip her down this winter and put some new hydro turf and some footholds, possibly paint. Thats the main reason i am trying to figure out if its waterlogged in back or just me. Everyone i have seen footholds are toward the back. Anyways Any Help would Be greatly appreciated. Also i plan on building up a 701 to put in it. Hopefully as long as i have the money come winter.

Thanks Again

I have a 701 super jet and it went great. I got a 90 super jet and it has a all raced out 701 swap in it. It did the same thing as you said. I just put in more time on it and it stoped. I have no idea what happened but it works great! When some one new gets on it, it will do it with them. You just have to put time on it. Good luck!

A shortened pole helps tremendously on a stock sj...especially for a bigger guy like yourself..Just ask a guy by the name of "Joe4thgear" on here. He had the exact same problem. He got a shortened AC pole, and the problem was solved. I'm not sure how many inches shorter it was, you'd have to ask him.

I'd be curious what jetting you have in your carb. Shouldn't be fouling plugs like that. Check compression while you are at it.

Try to keep your weight forward.......it will get better the more you ride.
