Did you ever do the pump swap? I just picked up a minty FX1, haven't even rode it yet, and I'm itching to start modding it.

I had purchased it to do exactly what you want to do but ended up buying another FX-1 with the mod already done so I no longer need it.

Thanks for the offer, but from the reading I've been doing it seems the 140 Kawi pump is the way to go.

I was doing the same research months ago and was debating between the two. I ended you choosing the 144 for better prop choice and when done right you can swap a new 144 or mag pump in there if you get ambitious. They are both work to get put in from everything I've read, but both give great gains over the 122 pump. Good luck
