Blaster new to jetski and blaster!

haha ok 1st of all thanks everyone for the advice, getting ready to head back out here in about an hour cant wait. so i was looking into some of the site to find parts and i was woundering is the blaster grouped with anther yamaha PWC for some parts or is it that they just dont make blaster parts? one other question is the reserve tank, how the hell do i fill that? i mean it was hysterical watching m friend run out of gas while we were in the middle of the lake but i dont want to feel that pain myself.

There aren't too many Blaster specific parts made, but info know of one company that caters to Blasters. Hint: look at my signature.

Reserve tank is filled when you fill the only gas tank on the ski, its just a pickup that sits lower in the tank than the regular pickup.

There is a lot of compatibility between yamaha 2 stroke models. Every motor part is the same as a superjet, and quite a few are the same as the waveraider. The pumps are very much the same too, the main difference being the drive shaft length.

So my next newbie question and story.... Was at the lake yesterday having an awesome time. Tied the blaster off and went to hang with the friends, my friend josh gets on he takes the rope off and stores it comes back and ties if off again.... Then the dumbass heads back out but this time doesn't take the rope off. Yep sucked right up into the propeller :( got home got all the rope out. Now I need to know where to hook my hose to the blaster so I can try to run it in the drive way to make sure it works :/

You can fire it up for a minute or so just don't let it get too hot.

Otherwise you will need to buy a flush kit to hook up to your cooling system if you don't have one installed.
