I have owned nothing but 550s and 650s, and I decided to take the plunge. I am picking up a 2006 RN SJ today. All stock, with approx. 50 hours??? I am getting it for $4300. The only thing that is wrong with it is the hood has a little bubble in the paint. Is the paint quality not that good on the SJs?

Anyway, what do you think it is a good deal? Or am I over paying?

I'm moved by DASA power!
First thing i would change is put in quality Hydroturf,

My shins learned that the hard way, 4 inch gash on my left one requiring around 20 stiches and a month of lost ride time. OEM turf is like ice skating with tennis shoes.

The superjet hoods weren't sanded properly out of the factory. The paint on the rest of the ski is fine but the hood will soon look like hell. Just cover the missing paint with stickers until its gets to a point of no return then rattle can it, haha

well after I got it last night, the hood wasn't as bad as I thought, the ski is in great shape, a lil corrosion on the exhaust right before the coupler, but otherwise near perfect. I am very happy with the deal
