we had nice days!!!! I already winterized. Pulled the motor out of the RN yesterday for a set of mounts and a once over before daytona.

Same here, just hard to get to the dmv. Im the only mechanic at my shop atm.

The motor isnt as bad as I made it sound. It freed up after hitting the starter and started right up after choking the carbs with my hands. The spark plugs had a rusty look to them and it all cleared up relatively fast (after fogging the motor twice). Teddy saw the plugs, they werent that bad. Compression is spot on and I dont hear any noises in the bottom end. Motor spins nice and freely. I know the right thing to do is to pull it apart and check it out, but I just have a funny feeling this crank is OK. Maybe I will get a gasket set and just take a peek inside.
