new superjet b pipe hot enough to sizzle water melt plastic

whats up guys, i bought a sn superjet today with a b pipe, riva non girdled head, single carb (61x/61x 701). It was purchased as a non running ski with eletrical issues but good compression. I put a new cdi box and coil in and fixed the electical problem. took it out and it ran pretty good. the cooling lines are ran with a t spliter that goes to both manifold outlets, the headpipe has a cooling line coming in the bottom and a line that runs out one of the pissers w/ a t to the bottom of the chamber and the riva head has 2 outlets that run out the pissers (not sure what the real name for these are). it ran way to hot so i quit ridding it and now im here.

the screws in the headpipe are frozen, wondering how to get it cooler. thanks in advance!!!!

that cooling setup is fine,it gets even more pressure to the head pipe and evens the temp out in the cylinder. your head pipe pissers are clogged, take it off and soak it in parts cleaner for a couple hours, plug one line and blow compressed air through it,you can get to 2 of the holes with a pic if it doesnt clear up with out removing the screws, just hope you can get at least one open that has the screw setting open a little on it and your good

Yep, this is the routing I run. Should be fine. I agree, you probably have set screws/holes in head pipe plugged.

Use propane torch get the headpipe real hot around the screws they will break loose.

better yet, go get a stick of parafin wax from the the hardware store and stab it on the hot screws you just hit with a torch. wax will be sucked into the threads and BLAMMO! free screws. works everytime on 200k+ mile engine block plugs.

I use this method with success all the time on frozen bolts. Works great!
