New Smyrna Beach Pics:

yea deffinatly riding for survival, tricks are a after thought,if at all.I was really pissed i didnt take the hel cam out,I just didnt think it was worth it,you cant see the waves on the outside from shore, they dont look like much, till you get to the outside, way out there its CRAZY.

i saw that in the paper this morning and told peggy i bet yall saw it.

were there any spots you could get shielded from the wind and get decent conditions....ie inside the inlet? does it ever break inside anymore?

the spot on the inside of the inlet by the south rocks was fun... I hung there for a while w/ ted and Rob... there were too many kite boarders.... one of the rental idiots hit a kite boarder too.... I didn't see it, just heard about it... We rode just outside south of the rocks for the best waves... it was just too big and windy to do much

wow those guys made the most of their two hour rental. i wish the newspaper would mention it was a rental power ski.

i'm just not up for conditions like that anymore. i'll leave it to the rental riders.

So let's take a count on Ponce Inlet activity Sunday.
Zero boat exited or entered the inlet.
6 jet skiers:
One rental washed up on NSB without a rider. Rider left dead and floating.
One Kawi stand-up swamped and had to pull up on NSB.
Another rental hit a kite boarder.
The other three. (Ted, Nick and I) Went out the furthest, stayed the longest and everything went great.
Seems like this should be an ad for the Yamaha Superjet.
