SBT needs a rebuildable core that matches what you want
to sell you an engine
lots of opinions on SBT- use the search engine
either 701 or 760 will fit
760 more high speed while 701 better for freestyle IMHO

I haven't run mine yet, but with 180psi, dual 44 blackjacks, a drypipe, total loss, and water injection, there isn't going to be much comparison to how a stock 760 would act honestly.

I'd go with whichever you can get the cheapest or in the best condition.

good question:

would you take a stock 61x 701 cylinder over a stock 62t 760 cylinder if they were the same price??? IDK what i'd pick

I love my motor, LPW ported 760 62t motor. it was the best bang for the buck hands down. everyone clames the 61x 760 is stronger but it cost alot of money to drop new sleeves and its only about %10 more bottom end. wouldent trade mine for the world :) (well maybe a nice EME)

so what should i get???? would i be better off getting a 61x 701? oh yea what are the differences between a 61x and a 62t??????????

Ports are set up to make power lower in the powerband. The 760's were more race/top speed motors and the porting makes the power at higher RPM's. I think the 760 ports are taller, and for low-end power (freestyle) you want a lower, wider port. You can raise a 701 port to get higher RPM power, but you can't lower a port without new sleeves or welding in metal (not really an option).
