After reading up on the "special" magnetic scupper by Xmetal, I got thinking. I would like a scupper on my X2 one day. Well I thought I would never say that when people first started using scuppers.
My new ideas are to use an aluminum tube. Now I know you can use one now but the idea is the thread the end so that it will thread into the scupper valve itself. Also the scupper should have some type of screened holes like the XFT scupper. It should also have the magnetic closures like the Xmetal one. I would also thread the end that is inside the engine compartment. That way you can use a threaded flange of some sorts to help hold it in place. I would also make some kind of cap that you could thread on or place over that end so you could "block off" the scupper when it is not in use. Or make some kind of locking pin for the valve on the back of the ski to keep it closed.
Just some ideas, what do you guys think?
